Editorial standards

How recommendations are made.

Compatibility comes first

Native mirrorless mount compatibility is established before price or popularity is considered. Sensor coverage and crop behavior are disclosed when the available data supports them.

Inventory is a signal, not a verdict

Multiple current offers make condition and price comparison easier. Inventory depth does not prove that one lens is optically better than another.

Recommendation categories

Products may be selected for overall value, budget, portrait, travel, wildlife, macro, street, video or low-light use. Categories use focal length, aperture, current price, availability and practical shooting characteristics.

Corrections

Product feeds and automated classifications can contain errors. Material compatibility or pricing errors should be reported through the contact page so they can be reviewed.
