Practical buying analysis
This is a specification- and inventory-based buying assessment, not a hands-on optical test. It explains what the known focal range, mount and seller inventory can tell you, and what you should still verify directly with the seller.
The Leica 24-90mm f/2.8-4 Vario-Elmarit-SL ASPH. Full-Frame Lens is listed for the L-Mount system with a L-Mount mount. Its practical starting role is travel, landscapes and everyday photography. The catalog records Full Frame sensor coverage; verify your camera model and any crop-mode implications.
Its 24–90mm zoom range offers framing flexibility, but compare its wide and long ends with the subjects you photograph most. The catalog lists a maximum aperture of f/2.8-4; check its behavior across the zoom range where relevant.
Only one KEH catalog offer is shown, so there is no within-retailer grade comparison for this model at present. Inspect glass clarity, focus and zoom movement, mounting contacts, stabilization if applicable, and included caps or hood. Use the used-lens inspection checklist →
