The M. Zuiko 12mm f/2.0 produces a broad 84° field of view.
The compact efficient optical formulation consists of 11 fully mult-coated elements in 8 groups and includes one DSA (Double Side Aspherical) element, one Aspherical element, one ED (Extra low Dispersion) element, and one Super HR (High Refractive index) element. The f/2 maximum aperture produces wonderful out of focus areas and the 7 bladed circular aperture diaphragm helps keep focus transitions pleasant as you stop down.
High speed near silent focusing is provided by a MSC (Movie & Still Compatible) drive. A snap focus clutch mechanism allows near instant manual focus by wire with a purist pleasing depth of field and distance scale with hard stops.
The lens also features a weather resistant design ready for the great outdoors. The M.
Zuiko 12mm f/2.0 ED MSC is an amazing compliment to Olympus PEN series and other compact Micro Four Thirds camera bodies. Also available in Black.
