The Sony 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 PZ OSS (part# SELPS1650) is an ultra compact zoom lens for Sony E Mount mirrorless cameras. Thanks to its clever retracting mechanism, this zoom lens collapses to just 1-3/16" making it the perfect choice for travel and on-the-go shooting when a compact, lightweight lens is ideal.
The powered zoom mechanism makes the lens especially well suited for video work where predictable, smooth and quiet zooming is always welcome. The Power Zoom also saves space and allows a space saving dual function control ring that controls both zooming and manual focus.
The SELP1650 uses 9 elements including one ED (Extra low Dispersion) and four aspherical element to reduce aberrations and deliver superior contrast and quality across the entire image field. OSS Optical SteadyShot image stabilization counteracts image blur caused by camera shake during hand-help shooting.
